Privacy Policy
Version 1 (draft) · Deedio, Tri-Cities TN
Draft pending attorney review.
What we collect
Account basics (name, email, phone), the property information you add (photos, home details, selling preferences), messages and offers you send or receive, and usage data. Property records themselves (addresses, parcel data, assessor owner names) come from public Tennessee state sources.
The private-by-default promise
Your target price is never shown to anyone but you. Photos are private unless you mark them public. Your exact willingness level is never shown to buyers — only a broad band. Your name is not shown to buyers; buyers' names are shown to you when they contact you. Nothing about your home becomes buyer-visible until you claim it and choose to be visible.
Who we share with
Service providers that make the product work: Supabase (data hosting), Stripe (payments and identity checks — Deedio never sees your ID document, only the pass/fail result), Twilio (phone verification), Resend (email), Mapbox (maps), and our property-data provider. We do not sell personal data, and we never share your contact details with another user without an action you took (accepting a conversation, an agent introduction).
Your controls
Export your data as JSON from Settings → Privacy. Control which emails you receive in Settings → Notifications. Request account deletion from Settings → Privacy — we confirm and complete deletion requests manually during beta, removing your account data while retaining records we're legally required to keep (e.g., payment history).
Retention
Active account data is kept while your account exists. Public-record property data persists independently of accounts — it's public record. Audit logs of security-relevant actions are retained for fraud prevention.
